Assembly Production Technician

Job Description

Job Duties


The Assembly Production Technician is responsible for assembling laboratory equipment and related components according to company specifications, quality standards, and production schedules. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to producing high-quality products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Assemble mechanical and electrical components using hand and power tools

- Follow detailed assembly instructions, schematics, and work orders

- Inspect parts and finished products to ensure quality standards are met

- Perform basic testing and troubleshooting of assembled units

- Package finished products for shipment

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures

- Communicate production issues or material shortages to supervisors

- Assist with inventory tracking and stock organization as needed

Minimum Education Required


High School Diploma or equivalent

Minimum Experience Required


- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred

- Basic mechanical and/or electrical knowledge

- Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and diagrams

- Strong attention to detail and quality control

- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

- Strong teamwork and communication skills
