Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - Residential Programs | Merrimack Valley, MA

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is currently partnered with a respected human services organization in the Merrimack Valley seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a full-time, onsite position supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role offers a consistent Monday-Friday schedule and a collaborative clinical environment across multiple residential program locations.

Position Details:

Location: Methuen & Haverhill, MA (multiple residential group homes)

Service Area: Merrimack Valley

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm (flexibility available with supervisor approval)

Employment Type: Full-time, 40 hours/week

Compensation: $70-$75/hr (based on experience)

Start Date: ASAP

Mileage: Reimbursed for travel between program locations

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct behavioral support and counseling to adults with I/DD, ASD, ABI, and memory-related disorders

  • Conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized, data-driven treatment plans

  • Create and oversee Positive Behavior Support (PBS) plans and restrictive intervention protocols

  • Train staff in behavioral strategies, documentation practices, and crisis prevention

  • Support program leadership in promoting mental wellness and proactive behavioral management

  • Participate in crisis management planning with internal and external partners

  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation

  • Build positive, trust-based relationships with individuals supported and their families

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field

  • Active BCBA certification or eligibility to obtain certification within 6 months of hire

  • Candidates who do not obtain certification within 6 months cannot remain in the role

  • Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities

  • Experience designing and implementing PBS assessments and treatment plans

  • Strong communication, organizational, and coaching skills

  • Valid driver's license in good standing with at least 1 year of driving experience
