Process Engineer

job summary:
Process Engineer to join our clients team to drive efficiency in a high volume manufacturing environment! In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and optimizing processes, and implementing lean manufacturing principles to improve quality, delivery and cost.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field
  
  
• Must have at least one (1) year experience evaluating and improving manufacturing processes
  
  
• Experience in an automotive or related manufacturing environment
  
  
• NPI and design review experience

Preferred:

• CAPEX/Project management Experience

responsibilities:

• Conducting process analysis and implementing improvements for manufacturing
  
  
• Develop and maintain standard labor hours, cycle time and takt time data
  
  
• Evaluate current manufacturing practices and identify opportunities for improvement, including cost reduction, throughput increase, and workflow efficiency
  
  
• Perform value stream mapping, time studies, capacity analysis, layout/production flow analysis, and document standard work
  
  
• Drive the projects to increase productivity, reduce lead-time, improve quality, and cost savings
