Key Responsibilities
As the Territory Sales Manager – Truck Products, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding dealer networks, and supporting customer success across your assigned territory.
Sales Leadership and Territory Management - Serve as the primary sales lead for Hydrovac and Truck Product lines, driving revenue growth and increasing market share.
- Monitor and manage sales performance, budgets, and territory opportunities to ensure targets are achieved.
Dealer Development and Relationship Management - Act as the main point of contact for dealers within the territory, building strong and lasting business relationships.
- Evaluate dealer capabilities, align product offerings to their strengths, and recruit new dealers to expand the network.
Product Demonstration and Training - Lead and support hands-on product demonstrations in collaboration with field sales teams to showcase product value.
- Train dealer personnel and customers on product operation, features, and effective sales techniques.
Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with internal teams including Product Specialists, Technical Support, Engineering, and Customer Service to ensure alignment and success.
- Support joint sales, marketing, and training initiatives to enhance product adoption and brand presence.
Customer and Market Feedback - Gather and communicate feedback from dealers and customers to support continuous improvement of products and services.
- Provide visual documentation, including videos and photos, of demonstrations, training sessions, and product applications.
Customer Experience and Support - Partner with Customer Service teams to ensure timely issue resolution and a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to drive repeat business and long-term loyalty.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate:
Education & Experience: - 3–5 years of sales experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment supporting dealer networks.
- Experience with construction equipment, heavy equipment, or truck-mounted vacuum products (e.g., hydrovacs, sewer trucks) is strongly preferred.
Technical Skills: - Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Ability to quickly learn and effectively communicate technical product features and benefits.
Key Competencies: - Proven success in developing dealer networks and maintaining strong business relationships.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated and results-driven with a strong team-oriented mindset.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including overnight and air travel.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract and ability to obtain a passport for international travel (Canada and U.S.).
