Conduct external research and communicate with client teams, present findings to working-level client teams, and help develop communications for senior management. Extract knowledge and insights from data in order to investigate complex business problems through a range of data preparation, modeling, analysis and/or visualization techniques, including predictive analysis, business intelligence, pattern recognition, operational effectiveness and/or economic forecasting. Responsible for project task management, communications, including deck writing, coordination of all sub team efforts, delivery of output with adequate quality control, facilitation and gathering of client feedback on problem structuring, and effective management of frequency of feedback loop with offshore/onshore EXL resources. Use EXL analytics methodologies and analysis tools to perform all the following: data extraction, data understanding, variable reduction, Big Data processing, data analysis, model development, model stabilization, and model validation. Utilize SAS, SPSS, R, Hive, Python CART and other statistical software to carry out analysis and drive conclusions and reformulate highly technical information into concise, understandable terms for presentation to the team and the client. Identify the right data sources required to inform relevant insights, metrics and understand key business trends. Import raw data from client data warehouses and databases into statistical analysis software. Build a deep understanding of data required to execute analyses. Provide business acumen on EXL systems in understanding the analytics problem, structure and hypothesis. Determine appropriate methods for data analysis. Ensure quality control of outputs to client through EXL systems, provide adequate project, client and team management, and ensure adherence to EXL policies, procedures, standards and compliance. Responsible for structuring every analysis and sub analysis and for breaking it down into multiple executable steps. Valuate project plans to determine adequacy or feasibility. Create, manage and leverage repository of case studies, business problem solutions and approach utilized in past engagements. Use visualization software, charts, tables and other tools to highlight key trends and recommendations. Partner with EXL senior managers to aggregate all relevant insights into actionable strategic recommendations for the client. Travel is not required for this role. Position may require travel to various and unanticipated workplaces throughout the U.S. Telecommuting is permitted. Job Requirements: Requires Masters degree in Economics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Computer Science/Engineering, or a directly related analytics field plus six (6) years of Banking or insurance experience. Must have six (6) years of experience in each of the following: Python, SAS, and SQL; MS Powerpoint and Excel; Machine Learning techniques; Creating reporting dashboards and data automation. 40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm, Salary range: $170,000 to $180,000 per year.
