About the Role: Reporting to the Delivery Supervisor, you will be responsible for loading and delivering our beautifully crafted kitchens into our clients’ homes and building sites. You will be working in a small team and predominantly unsupervised, so we require someone who is reliable and able to get the job done right the first time. We are a busy team and work to a tight schedule, so time management is a must. As we deliver across the country Monday to Friday, out of town travel is required (with some overnight stay), but with our fantastic team you’ll enjoy the journey. As an HK employee, you represent everything HK stands for which includes fantastic customer service when on site representing HK Kitchens. We require someone who is not only physically fit but also focused on health & safety, so this role would suit an individual who is experienced in furniture removal or similar. It takes a massive team effort to get our kitchens to the stage of delivery and install, so we need someone who takes care of our cabinetry in transit and when on site. To be successful in the role, you will possess the following skills and attributes: • Clean Class 2 Drivers Licence • Experienced in similar role (eg. moving furniture/heavy lifting) • Be able to work largely unsupervised • Lifestyle enables staying overnight weekly/fortnightly according to delivery schedule (accommodation provided & overnight allowance paid) • Must be physically fit – able to lift heavy and bulky items • Reliable – the team and our clients count on you • Presentable • Excellent time management skills and ability to work to a schedule • Strong communication skills Please note, applicants must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
