Concrete supervisor / carpenter

Whether you’re an experienced leader or a skilled carpenter keen to progress into a supervisory role, this hands-on position offers the chance to lead a small crew, assist with quoting, organize jobs, and communicate with clients. We’re looking for someone who demonstrates strong expertise, high level skillset and can work autonomously with minimal supervision. While carpentry skills are certainly important—and we do have some construction projects from time to time—the majority of work is form work and concrete-related (supplying, forming, and finishing concrete). There’s also a significant amount of machinery operation involved, including excavation, earthworks, and material handling. So even if you aren't specifically a carpenter and think you’d be a good fit, please forward us your resume. It’s a very hands-on role, and we’re looking for someone who is flexible and willing to jump in wherever needed to keep the business running smoothly. Some tasks may have little to do with either carpentry or concreting, at most we have full-service construction projects, encompassing planning and labour supply, materials and machinery, right through to project completion and handover. In the long run, we’re looking for someone mature, who can grow into a trusted right-hand person to the director—someone reliable, skilled, and knowledgeable, who takes responsibility and consistently delivers quality work. It's a great little country town but it is also quite remote as the closest city (Dubbo) is 1.2hrs drive away.
