Starting pay: $21.23/hour
Full time hours, Monday - Thursday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (+ Overtime as needed)
A Brief Summary of This Position
The Shipper 2 position is an individual contributor in the Shipping Department. This person must be a highly driven individual that will bundle, crate, box, and wrap products to be shipped.
Essential Functions
Utilize all safety devices, adhere to safety expectations,and wear all mandatory personal protective safetyequipment.
Operate a15,000 poundforklift to move material up to 40footinlength.
Read blueprints accurately toidentifymaterial andcomponents.
Load material ontotrucks.
Maintain material traceability both inside the shop and outside in theyard.
Assistwith cyclecounts.
Enter data into computer software, asneeded.
Transport parts and material to correctlocation.
Identifyand label material with correct information andplaceintoinventory.
Verify counts,measurements,and material information foraccuracy.
Rotate stock and/or replenishoverflow.
Stack,sortand stockparts.
Unload material from trucks to stage inoutsideyard and/or insideshop.
Other duties asrequiredand/or assigned.

The employee mustmaintainsafeand productive work environment producing a quality product which is shippedcompleteand on time to satisfy the needs of the customer.
The employee has a direct impact on safety, quality, productivity, TME (total manufacturing expenses), and customer satisfaction.
The employeeis responsible forownwork.
Must be able to work with other employees to completejob.
Ability to work with wood and small hand tools such as tape measures, saws, drills, riveters, and nail guns.
This position reports to theShipping Supervisor.
Required Qualifications of Every Candidate (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
The ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, read,writeand count accurately.
Wear required personal protective equipment and follow facility safety regulations.
Maintain a safe and productive working environment.
Ability to read and work with prints,drawings,and workdocuments.
The ability to pay attention to detail and follow workinstructions .
The ability to calculate simple mathematics and interpret shop drawings.
Data entry computer skills and knowledge
Ability to accurately take measurements using close tolerance measuringinstruments.
Acceptable attendance and prior employment record
The ability to work in a team environment with a diverse group of people.
Ability to work both in a non-temperature controlledenvironment and outdoors.
Highly Qualified Candidates Will Also Possess These Qualifications
Must have a high awarenessforsafety at all times.
Must be a person of passion and integrity who has the drive to excel and deliver exceptional results.
6 months experience working in afast pacedmanufacturing environment.
Experience inshipping/receiving position.
High School Diploma or GED
Familiarity with radial saws, hand tools, overheadcranes,and general shop safety
The ability to communicate and interact with coworkers in a positivemanner.
