Job Title: Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Multiple Locations & Shifts Available

Pay: $16.00 – $19.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, Per-Diem, Temporary
Work Location: In-person

We are currently seeking compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team in the following areas:

• Martinsville Area – All shifts available
• Speedway Area – Nights & weekends available
• Greenwood Area – All shifts available

Position Description

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) will assist individuals in achieving the quality of life they desire while promoting dignity, independence, and respect. DSPs provide support through teaching, guidance, and encouragement in daily living activities.

Qualifications, Skills & Abilities

• Ability to provide individualized care and support
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Problem-solving skills in accordance with policies and procedures
• Ability to assist individuals with financial and daily living needs
• Basic cooking and housekeeping skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Caregiving experience preferred (1 year)

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and protect the dignity and rights of individuals served
• Provide daily support services based on individual needs
• Encourage independence and informed decision-making
• Build positive, respectful relationships
• Serve as a positive role model
• Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
• Support individuals in maintaining a clean, personalized home environment
• Assist with personal appearance and hygiene as needed
• Facilitate community involvement and meaningful activities
• Communicate effectively with team members and complete required documentation

Schedule

• Various shifts available
• Day, evening, night, and weekend opportunities
