The Corporate Accounts Representative promotes and markets lottery tickets and programs to Minnesota's largest retail outlets and chain stores. This role regularly collaborates with executive-level leaders (such as presidents, vice presidents of marketing, and major store managers) to sell and implement marketing initiatives for lottery games and promotions. The representative is responsible for maximizing sales by analyzing potential, setting goals, developing action plans, and executing effective sales strategies. They must understand each chain's strengths and weaknesses, recommend solutions to drive performance, and prepare and deliver presentations tailored to the retailer.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Increase sales at assigned corporate accounts chain
Serveas a liaisonand corporate consultant for Minnesota Lottery staffand corporate account officials
Recruit both Corporate and Independent quality retail accounts to sell lottery products
Negotiate merchandising of lottery products at assigned corporate accounts
Provide support to all lottery functions as needed
Maintain positive interpersonal relationship with all staff, supervisors, and customers.
Minimum Qualifications

Three years of professional sales experience that includes territory management, product merchandising, and promotionalexperience(counter sales,salesofservices,anddeliverydriving do not count as professional sales experience); OR
Bachelor'sdegree inSales,Marketing,Communications,orarelateddegree AND two years of professional sales experience described above.
Abilityto communicate effectively withindividuals with a widerange of backgrounds, whodo not share your same culture, ethnicity, language, or other common experiences.

Preferred Qualifications
Experiencesellingamajorconsumer product (e.g., Frito-Lay, Nabisco, Pepsi, Philip Morris)
Experience in gaming or entertainment industries
Experience working with diverse populations
Presentation and/or public speaking experience
Bi-lingual speaking
Physical Requirements
This job requires occasionally lifting articles up to 25-30 pounds and frequently lifting and/or carrying objects such as promotional materials and dispenser cases. This job may require walking or standing to a significant degree or may involve sitting for extended periods of time.
