There is ongoing work here for the right operator. The Role You will be operating civil construction plant across a range of projects in and around Alice Springs. The work is hands-on, varied, and out in the open. No two days are the same. * Operating excavators, loaders, skid steers, rollers, graders, and water carts * Carrying out excavation, trenching, backfilling, bulk earthworks, and final trim * Working to set levels and grades using plans, string lines, lasers, and GPS * Trenching for stormwater, drainage, electrical, and communications services * Assisting with lifting and placing pipes, pits, kerbs, and other infrastructure * Conducting daily pre-start checks and keeping plant logbooks up to date * Working closely with supervisors, engineers, and other operators on site * Maintaining a safe worksite and following SWMS and site safety plans What We Need * Proven experience operating plant in a civil construction environment * Valid driver licence (non-negotiable) * Relevant plant tickets or VOCs across excavator, loader, skid steer, roller, or grader * Experience with trenching, drainage, and bulk earthworks * Willingness to relocate to Alice Springs and commit to 6-day, 60 to 70-hour weeks Why This Role The rates here are well above what most civil operators are earning back home, and with accommodation and a vehicle included your costs are minimal.
