About the Job

 

Responsibilities 
Teach pediatric participants and their family about MRIs through a mock scan (10%)
Greet and support participants obtaining research scans at M Health Fairview (10%)
Perform quality control and de-identify and transfer MRI images from the Fairview PACS system (40%)
Perform white matter lesion segmentation on patient brain MRIs (40%)

Work location
Hybrid - 2025 East River Parkway

 

Qualifications

 

All required qualifications must be included in the application materials

Required 
BA/BS degree
Experience with MRI image acquisition for human participants  
Experience using Sante DICOM Editor software for MRI image de-identification
Proficiency in ITK-SNAP software for cortical segmentation of brain MRIs
Familiarity with research policies and procedures at the University of Minnesota
and M Health Fairview

Preferred 
Prior clinical research experience
Experience in MRI studies that involve children

Position is with the Masonic Institute for the Developing Brain

Pay and Benefits

 

Pay Range: $20.00 per hour depending on education/qualifications/experience.
