Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and reliable Facilities Technician to support the maintenance and operation of building systems within a commercial or healthcare environment. This role is responsible for ensuring a safe, efficient, and fully functional facility through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, implementing effective solutions in a timely manner
• Respond promptly to work orders and emergency maintenance requests
• Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment lifespan
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and facility policies
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and installations
• Assist with facility upgrades, renovations, and equipment installations
• Monitor system performance and report any irregularities or potential issues
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance tools and work areas

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred
• Minimum of 1 year experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends as needed
