**Summary**

As an Estimator you will be responsible for analyzing customer drawings and prints, specifications, and project requirements to accurately calculate the cost, materials, labor, and timelines required for metal fabrication projects. The Estimator plays a critical part in securing profitable work by delivering accurate and competitive quotes while aligning with production capabilities.

**What You’ll Do**

• Collaborate closely with sales/estimating group, engineering, and production teams to ensure production capabilities, cost efficiency, and alignment with operational capacity.

• Evaluate factors such as material costs, fabrication processes (laser, welding, forming, paint, etc.), labor requirements, tooling, and subcontracted services.

• Produce accurate and timely cost estimates and quotes.

• Interpret blueprints, CAD files, and customer specifications.

• Analyze material, labor, and overhead costs.

• Partner with production to ensure manufacturing capabilities.

• Support pricing strategy and communicate effectively with customers.

• Identify risks, cost drivers, and margin opportunities and share those with team.

**What You Will Bring**

• Strong attention to detail, technical understanding of metal fabrication processes, and the ability to interpret blueprints and drawings.

• The ability to balance accuracy with speed, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and support improvement processes by identifying cost-saving opportunities and process efficiencies.

• Basic computer skills are required. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite a plus.

Salary: This is a salaried position with a starting range of $65,000-$90,000 (with flexibility to go outside that range). We offer a competitive salary based on skills, experience, and work history.
