About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pilates Instructor to join our team at FS8 Fairfield. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Mat and Reformer Pilates and a commitment to helping individuals raise the bar and achieve their fitness goals. As an FS8 Instructor, you will nurture a supportive environment for participants of all skill levels, delivering FS8’s signature, science-backed programming infused with the unique personal flair that only you can bring to our community. - Ensure the room and equipment are set up properly and neatly.
- Welcome new members, introduce them to the space and equipment, and assess for injuries and health considerations.
During Class:
- Provide form corrections, addressing members by name and leveraging all four types of cueing techniques.
- Offer appropriate modifications—both progressions/amplifications and regressions–in order to run a safe, effective class.
- Cultivate a high energy, positive environment to motivate members, helping them to understand their own strengths and push past limitations.
- Remain alert and aware of the room, responding to individual and group needs as they arise.
After Class:
- Offer praise and a friendly farewell to departing guests.
- Reset the room, tidying stations and wiping down equipment as needed.
- Update member profiles and studio management with any relevant information.

- Share and lock in shift availability no less than one month in advance.
- Work out at an FS8 studio at least twice per week.
