About the Opportunity We’re working with a well-established electrical contractor with a long-standing presence in Southland. Known for their technical capability and genuine commitment to quality workmanship, they deliver projects and maintenance services to a diverse portfolio of industrial, commercial, and residential clients. With strong forward workload and continued growth, they’re now seeking two experienced Industrial Electricians to join their Invercargill team. About the Role This is a hands-on position offering plenty of variety, from installations and maintenance through to automation and control upgrades. You’ll be part of a skilled, supportive team who take pride in doing things right and maintaining strong relationships across the community and industry. Key Responsibilities - Carry out installation, maintenance, and fault-finding on electrical systems within industrial environments - Respond to breakdowns and ensure minimal downtime for key clients - Work collaboratively with engineers, project teams, and contractors - Ensure all work meets compliance, safety, and quality standards - Contribute to ongoing improvements and technical upgrades Skills & Experience - New Zealand registered and licensed electrician (EWRB) and clean, current NZ drivers licence. - Demonstrated experience in industrial or manufacturing environments - Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capability - Exposure to control systems, automation, or PLCs advantageous - A proactive, safety-conscious approach to work Why Invercargill?
