Job Title: Assistant Supervisor - Team Trainer

Phyxius Inc. is seeking a highly organized and proactive Assistant Supervisor - Team Trainer, to oversee staff training, new hire orientation, and ensure adherence to mandatory training requirements. This role is pivotal in staff development, ensuring that team members are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary in areas such as medication administration, client support plans, and safety protocols. You will manage training records, foster a positive and supportive work environment, and maintain high standards of team performance and home operations. This position blends direct care responsibilities with managerial oversight to ensure the delivery of exceptional care and compliance with documentation standards.

Responsibilities:

· Conduct New Hire Orientation, including medication demonstrations, van training, and shadow shifts, and ensure staff completes all mandatory training on time.

· Schedule and facilitate staff training meetings, including First Aid renewals, and ensure compliance with required trainings (OSHA, HIPAA, VA, etc.).

· Train staff on Client Support Plans and facilitate follow-up meetings after Annual Service Plan meetings.

· Scan employee training paperwork, client financials, and other required documentation.

· Oversee home operations, including monthly overnight checks, audits of financials, house cleaning lists, maintenance, van upkeep, and necessary repairs.

· Manage menu planning, groceries, supplies, and ensure proper support for clients

· Provide direct and non-direct care, including support for clients with physical aggression and behavioral challenges, including crisis intervention when needed.

· Provide guidance and support outside regular hours occasionally, as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in training, supervision, or leadership roles in healthcare or related fields, particularly with individuals with disabilities.

• Communication & Organization: Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent organizational abilities.

• Tech Skills: Proficiency with Mac/Apple operating systems and Microsoft Office.

• Team Leadership: Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate staff to achieve performance goals.

• Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
