Employment Type: Contract to Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $22.00-24.00 per hour

HR Assistant (Confidential) — Play a vital part in shaping a dynamic and supportive HR environment by ensuring smooth daily operations and fostering positive employee experiences.

Join us as an HR Assistant, where your organizational prowess and discretion will contribute to the seamless management of our human resources functions. In this pivotal role, you will support onboarding, maintain accurate employee records, coordinate interviews, assist with benefits administration, and handle a variety of HR coordination tasks—all while upholding the highest standards of confidentiality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate onboarding processes for new hires, including paperwork and orientation scheduling
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential employee files and HR records
  • Assist with payroll data collection and attendance tracking
  • Coordinate interviews and communicate effectively with candidates
  • Support benefits enrollment and maintain employee documentation
  • Respond to employee inquiries relating to HR policies and procedures
  • Prepare reports, forms, and HR correspondence with attention to detail
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations

Required Skills:

  • 1+ years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Proven experience in administrative support or HR assistance
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HR systems preferred
  • Capacity to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Knowledge of HR software and payroll systems
  • Experience with benefits administration
  • Familiarity with employment laws and compliance standards

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Prior experience in an HR support role or administrative capacity is advantageous
