Disclosure of Job Opportunity: 10 Temporary Fulltime Prep Cook Positions

Available (Dates of Need: 04/01/2026 through 10/31/2026)

Duties: The Prep Cook is responsible for performing a variety of food

preparation and cooking tasks that support the overall efficiency and quality of food service operations. Will assist in preparing the restaurants specialty dishes, following specific methods that usually require short preparation time. This role involves cleaning and sanitizing workstations, equipment, utensils, and dishes to maintain a safe and hygienic environment. Prep Cooks assist chefs and other kitchen staff by washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning ingredients such as fruits, vegetables, and meats in preparation for cooking. They measure and weigh food items, store ingredients properly to prevent spoilage, and ensure that all items are labeled and organized. Additional responsibilities include stocking service areas and storage rooms, refilling supplies, and helping with setup tasks like salad bars or beverage stations. Prep Cooks are also expected to monitor temperatures of food and refrigeration units, dispose of waste properly, and maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas, including sweeping and mopping floors. They may occasionally assist with basic food or beverage service or operate small kitchen equipment under supervision. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow food safety and sanitation standards, physical stamina, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Requirements: Six (6) months of experience cook and/or prep cook.

Fulltime: Employer will offer a minimum of no less than 35 hours per

week. Open 6-days a week (closed on Tuesdays; Open on Holidays). Shifts: 7am to 2:30pm or 2:30pm to 10:30pm. Shift schedule start and end times and days off vary depending on work demand.

Overtime: As Needed Only

Wage Offer: Workers will be paid no less than \$22.25 per hour. OT wage will be no less than \$33.38 per hour, or an applicable OT rate calculated as 1.5x base rate. Paid bi-weekly. Will use single workweek as standard for computing wages due.

Deductions: Employer will make all deductions from workers paycheck

required by law; optional assisted employee housing.

Housing: Optional assisted local employee housing may be available

within walking distance of the job location. Cost of housing is \$125 per week and paid via payroll deduction.

\ Transportation and subsistence to the place of employment: If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a workers voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily meals will be provided at a rate of \$16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of \$68 per day with receipts.

Visa and visa-related expenses: Workers will be reimbursed in the first

workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees).

Tools: Will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and

equipment required to perform the job.
