We are going to be unusually transparent in this posting — because we believe the right person deserves to know exactly what they are walking into.

This territory has 140 accounts already assigned to it. Of those:

  • ~72 accounts are active buyers — they already know KOS, they already order from us, and they already trust our products. Your job with these accounts is to show up, build the relationship deeper, and grow their spend.
  • ~55 accounts have never placed a single order — they are in our system, they are in your territory, and not one dollar of business has ever been generated with them. That is not a problem. That is a pipeline.
  • ~13 accounts are dormant — they bought from us before, went quiet, and just need someone to walk through the door and reconnect.

The previous rep built this territory to $2.74 million in annual sales working primarily with those 72 active accounts. The new rep who takes this job and works all 140 will be operating a completely different business.

We serve Latin supermarkets, bodegas, carnicerias, panaderias, tortillerias, convenience stores, and specialty food markets across multiple states. We are a hands-on, family-run operation — you will have direct access to ownership, fast decisions, and a team that actually cares whether you succeed.

You earn 12% of every dollar of gross profit you generate — on every invoice, every week.

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Make consistent in-person visits to active accounts to take orders and strengthen relationships
  • Prospect and open dormant and never-ordered accounts from your assigned territory list
  • Maintain a minimum 6% gross profit margin on all sales
  • Submit daily end-of-day reports with your route activity and order totals
  • Present new products, promotions, and deals to drive incremental revenue
  • Coordinate with the KOS warehouse and logistics team on orders and deliveries
  • Represent KOS Distribution professionally in every customer interaction

WHO WE NEED

Non-negotiable:

  • Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written) — the majority of your accounts are Spanish-speaking businesses and you must be able to communicate naturally and build real relationships in Spanish
  • Valid U.S. driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Self-motivated and disciplined — this is a field-based role and you must be able to manage your own time and route without daily supervision
  • Strong relationship-building skills — this business is built on personal trust and repeat visits

Strongly preferred:

  • Prior experience in food distribution, wholesale, or CPG sales
  • Existing relationships with Latin grocery stores, bodegas, or food service accounts in TN, KY, or IN
  • Familiarity with Latin food brands and products
  • Experience using order management.
