Job Description and Duties
Under the general direction of the Standards Compliance Coordinator /Compliance Assurance Review Team Lead, the Management Services Technician performs a variety of duties and is expected to consistently exercise a high degree of initiative, independence, and originality in performing assigned tasks. Temporary state housing may be available for those relocating to fill hard to recruit positions. Housing assignments and rates will be determined in accordance with Department policy, operational priorities, and applicable labor agreements.
Working Conditions
Typical Working Conditions: On-going interaction with staff and public contact in both the Secure and Non-Secure Treatment Programs. Potential exposure to communicable diseases, blood-borne pathogens, and other conditions common to a nursing facility environment.
Physical Demands: Must possess and maintain sufficient strength, agility, endurance, and sensory ability to perform the duties contained in this duty statement. The position requires prolonged sitting and extensive use of telephones, computers, and other office equipment. Incumbent will be working on a personal computer extended periods of time to develop spreadsheets, presentations, and data dashboards. May require continuous walking and standing within an 8-hour period, and prolonged sitting in front of a computer. Requires lifting to 50 lbs. Requires working with all levels of personnel within the organization.
