While we're ideally looking for an experienced generator technician who can hit the ground running, we are also keen to hear from Mechanical and Industrial electricians who are looking to transfer their skills to a new industry and take the next step in their career. What's In It For You: * Autonomous role in a small, skilled team * Down-to-earth management who look after their staff * Support from other branches throughout the South Island * Permanent full-time role on wages * $38 - $45 per hour + work ute Role: Across both their hire and sales divisions, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintenance, fault finding, repairs, installation and commissioning of modern, high-quality generators. You'll need technical skills of course, but what we're really looking for here is an old school, whatever-it-takes attitude to your work. Grit, graft, gumption - long story short, the willingness to roll up your sleeves and get the job done. Clients include the major electricity networks, farms, ports, and councils - you'll be playing with big boy toys, so health and safety needs to be second-nature. Most of the time you'll be based at the yard in north-west Christchurch, however the total area coverage stretches from Ashburton to the top of the South and occasional travel will be required (no more than a couple nights at a time, every couple of months).
