Bumble Bee Blinds of Commerce City is growing, and we’re looking to add skilled subcontractor installers to our network in the following areas:

Arvada, Aurora, Brighton, Commerce City, Denver, Dupont, Fort Lupton, Golden, Henderson, Thornton, Watkins, Westminster, and Wheat Ridge.

We’re looking for experienced professionals who take pride in their work, communicate well with customers, and know how to deliver a clean, polished installation experience.

Position Overview

Our subcontractor installers are responsible for completing in-home window treatment installations based on the scope provided by our team, while maintaining high standards for craftsmanship, professionalism, safety, and customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Install custom window treatments in residential and commercial settings based on approved work orders
• Perform precise field measurements when needed
• Install a variety of products, including:
• Roller shades
• Solar shades
• Wood and faux wood blinds
• Soft shades
• Bonus experience includes:
• Shutters
• Exterior shades
• Drapery

• Install and program motorized window treatments and home automation components
• Review daily work orders and confirm job details before arriving on site
• Arrive on time, in approved Bumble Bee Branded apparel, and prepared for the day’s jobs
• Ensure your van or trailer is stocked with ladders, tools, hardware, materials, and products needed for each project
• Complete each installation according to the work order and company expectations
• Demonstrate product operation to the customer before leaving the job site
• Take completion photos, update CRM/job notes, and collect final payment when required
• Leave the job site clean and professional, with all tools and equipment safely packed for transport
• Communicate clearly with the General Manager or Sales Manager regarding progress, issues, repairs, missing parts, or follow-up needs
• Diagnose and complete repairs in the field when capable

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of window treatment installation experience
• Strong working knowledge of standard window covering products and installation methods
• Ability to install and troubleshoot motorization and smart-home integrations
• Professional appearance and strong customer service skills
• Reliable transportation suitable for ladders, tools, and product handling
• Ability to manage the physical demands of installation work
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to represent the brand well in customers’ homes

Equivalent experience may be considered in place of the 2-year requirement, including:

• Hunter Douglas certification
• Other relevant industry certifications
• A strong track record of successful installations

• $2,000,000 General Aggregate per Project
• $2,000,000 Products & Completed Operations Aggregate
• $1,000,000 Personal and Advertising Injury Limit

Workers’ Compensation and Employers’ Liability Insurance

• $1,000,000 Each Accident
• $1,000,000 Each Employee for Injury or Disease
• $500,000 Aggregate for Injury by Disease

All coverage must be maintained under the subcontractor’s own policy and must be verifiable through public records or carrier documentation.
