Responsibilities may include:
- Serve as a member of the interdisciplinary team
- Assess and care for individuals in their residence
- Assure the health and safety of all individuals and promote his/her self-esteem
- Assist in employee development and site training of peers as requested
- Assist individual in learning appropriate self-care techniques
- Development, oversight and maintenance of the wellness coordination plan under the direct supervision of the assigned RN
- Responsible for the supplementation of nursing care needs of the individuals served as directed by the appropriate RN.
- Administer and instruct administration of medication
Requirements for this position include:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Indiana RN license.
- Acceptable background check
- Auto Insurance
- Valid Driver's License that meets company insurance guidelines.
- Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.
- Possess a sincere desire to provide service and support to those in need
- Ability to make sound judgements
- Preferably has experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
