Clinical Assistant Professor of Early Childhood Education
Lander University

Lander University’s College of Education invitesapplications for a Clinical Assistant Professor with expertise in Early Childhood Education. We seek a collaborative, student‑centerededucator committed to high‑quality teacher preparation and service to the university and profession. The successful candidate willcontribute to our growing Early Childhood CAEP-accredited educator preparation program and help prepare future teachers to meet the needs ofdiverse PreK–3 learners.

Primary Responsibilities Teach graduate and/or undergraduate courses in Early Childhood Education, such as:Child Development, Curriculum, planning, and assessment in ECE, Classroom management, and supportive learning environments. Superviseteacher candidates in field experiences. Provide academic advising to undergraduate and/or graduate students. Participate in programdevelopment, assessment, and continuous improvement activities. Contribute to departmental, college, and university committees andinitiatives. Collaborate with area schools, community partners, and professional organizations.

Required Qualifications Mastersdegree plus 30 hours (MA+30) in Early Childhood, Teaching and Learning or other education related field. Evidence of successful teachingexperience in early childhood (PreK–3). Commitment to teaching excellence and working with diverse student populations.

PreferredQualifications Doctorate (Ph.D., Ed.D.) in Early Childhood, Curriculum and Instruction, or other education related field. Experienceteaching at the university level. Experience with supervision of teacher candidates. Demonstrated potential for scholarly productivity.Familiarity with CAEP standards and accreditation processes.
