Bunker (Heritage Hospitality), located in The Duncan in West Loop, is looking to hire a part-time bartender.

We’re looking for a bartender who thrives in both calm & lively service environments, and has interest in local beer and classic cocktails. This role is ideal for someone who has bartending experience, an eagerness to gain knowledge in the craft, and possesses a genuine sense of hospitality.
Requirements
- Prepare, serve, and understand a menu of cocktails, spirits, beer, seltzer, cider, wine, non-alcoholic, & food options in accordance with Heritage Hospitality’s standards & recipes and local compliance guidelines.
- Educate guests on offerings with professionalism and accuracy.
- Manage flow behind the bar and maintain a clean, organized service area.
- Ensure compliance with ID verification and serving procedures.
- Operation of the Square point-of-sale system and accurate handling of cash & card transactions.
- Monitor, stock, and communicate needs of product inventory.
- Execution of opening and closing procedures.
- Perform side work as needed and support the kitchen team with coordination on food orders.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of bartending experience in a cocktail-focused environment is required.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must have or obtain a valid BASSET and Food Handler certification.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and reach, bend, and comfortably lift up to 55 lbs.
- Must possess excellent communication skills and maintain a calm & professional demeanor with reliability, honesty, and integrity.
- Must be comfortable working solo & as a team player.
- Must be able to communicate and write clearly in English; Spanish is a plus.
