Job Summary

Under general direction the Records Clerk will support the day to day functions of records management.

Responsibilities

• Process record requests for other County offices.
• File records received from other departments.
• Work with County offices to ensure digital data is accurate and make corrections as needed.
• Image records and review for quality assurance.
• Prepare records for imaging.
• Data enter records and transfer lists.
• Proficiency in records management software.
• Assist Records Manager in any needed task.
• Understand and enforce all rules and regulations involving records.
• Coordinate transportation of records to and from the Archives building through the Facilities Management department.
• Conduct criminal background checks as received.
• Provide outstanding professional customer service.
• Requires occasional work off-site at additional storage location.
• Able to perform work in a team environment adhering to all attendance and safety rules and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Essential Requirements

• Required - High School Diploma or equivalent
• Good communication skills
• Competent computer software skills.
• Strong organizing and planning skills with attention to detail.
