JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Selling District Branch Manager in Greenville SC and Spartanburg SC location. This role is a high-impact, revenue-driving leadership position with primary accountability for new business development and sales growth, while also overseeing core branch operations.
The Selling District Branch Manager spends approximately 70% of their time on new sales, business development, and client acquisition, and 30% on operational oversight and people management. This individual is expected to actively build market presence, generate new client relationships, and grow profitable accounts while ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and team effectiveness within the branch.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Sales & Business Development (Primary Focus – 70%)
- Drive new business development through strategic prospecting, cold and warm calling, networking, and market outreach.
- Identify, target, and secure new client relationships within the assigned territory.
- Conduct in-person and virtual sales meetings to assess client workforce needs and present Job Impulse staffing solutions.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline with a focus on long-term, profitable accounts.
- Negotiate client contracts and pricing in collaboration with the General Manager and corporate leadership.
- Represent Job Impulse at networking events, industry functions, and community activities to expand brand visibility.
- Partner with recruiting teams to ensure client expectations are aligned with delivery capabilities.
Branch Operations & Leadership (Secondary Focus – 30%)
- Oversee day-to-day branch operations to ensure service quality, efficiency, and compliance.
- Manage, mentor, and develop branch staff to support both sales growth and operational performance.
- Prioritize job orders and team workload to meet client delivery timelines.
- Set and manage branch budgets in alignment with corporate objectives.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, including compliance with federal and state employment regulations.
- Handle personnel-related functions, including employee relations issues as needed.
- Expedite Workers’ Compensation and Unemployment Insurance claims in coordination with corporate resources.
- Collaborate closely with the corporate team on annual goals, sales initiatives, and strategic planning.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in staffing, recruiting, or workforce solutions, with a strong emphasis on business development or B2B sales.
- Proven success generating new client relationships and revenue in a competitive sales environment.
- Prior experience within the staffing industry is required.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams while maintaining accountability.
- Strong understanding of employment practices, HR compliance, and employment law.
- Excellent customer service, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Willingness to be available beyond standard business hours as business needs require.
PREFERRED EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant work experience.
