EARTHWORKS SUPERVISOR / LEADING HAND Elite Farm Solutions Ltd – Taranaki Elite Farm Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated Earthworks Supervisor / Leading Hand to lead our growing earthworks team. With over 30 years of experience supporting the dairy industry, we provide high-quality services including installation and maintenance of milking systems, feed systems, effluent and water systems, pumps, and general engineering. We take pride in delivering excellent customer service and building a strong, capable team to support our continued success. Key Skills & Experience Proven practical experience in: * General earthworks * Drainage and trenching * Water pipe installation and maintenance * Effluent pond construction * Dairy sector earthworks *General cartage Strong experience operating earthmoving machinery, including: Excavators (5–20 tonne) Bobcats Trucks and Hiab trucks Relevant licences and certifications, including: Class 4 and 5 heavy traffic licence if possible WTR endorsement Ability to safely operate machinery and use small tools Competence in reading and interpreting construction plans Strong communication skills and ability to work with both team members and management Excellent organisational and time management skills Proven problem-solving ability Solid understanding of health & safety requirements and best practices Professional attitude with a strong work ethic Ability to work independently when required Key Responsibilities Lead and manage staff and resources to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule Actively participate in day-to-day site work alongside supervising the team Delegate tasks and coordinate crew members, contractors, and resources Promote and enforce safe work practices and correct use of equipment and PPE What We Offer Competitive pay rates Phone and tool allowances On-call allowances Ongoing training and career development opportunities Full PPE and uniforms provided Supportive and positive team environment Eligibility Applicants must have New Zealand residency or a valid NZ work visa.
