Job Title: Recruiter I
Location: New York, NY (Onsite)
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks

Schedule:

  • Shift: Day Shift
  • Timing: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • 5 × 8-hour shifts
  • 37.5 – 40 hours per week

Job Overview

The Recruiter I supports high-volume healthcare recruitment by developing sourcing strategies, partnering with hiring managers, and ensuring timely placement of qualified candidates in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract healthcare professionals
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and build recruitment plans
  • Source candidates independently with minimal reliance on external agencies
  • Act as liaison between candidates and management throughout the hiring process
  • Manage applicant tracking systems and recruitment databases
  • Review resumes, applications, and requisitions for accuracy and timely posting
  • Coordinate interviews and support candidate selection decisions
  • Assist with negotiation of compensation packages including salary and relocation
  • Post job advertisements across multiple platforms and support recruitment events
  • Maintain relationships with internal teams and external partners
  • Oversee onboarding processes including background checks and employment verification
  • Mentor and support junior recruitment staff as needed
  • Provide recruitment support to departments and leadership

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Minimum 2 years of healthcare recruiting or placement experience or equivalent
  • Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment preferred

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • High attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Proven ability to source qualified candidates under tight deadlines
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite
