DESCRIPTION
Saint Paul's Outreach (SPO) is looking for a Donor Engagement Specialist (DES) to help grow and strengthen relationships with SPO's valued partners across the country, with an emphasis on donors giving between $500 and $4,999 annually.
The DES will develop and engage a strategy for connecting these partners with the on-campus work of SPO and invite them to support it through renewed and increased gifts. Additionally, the DES will actively build a team of donors to fund his or her work through Mission Partner Development.
Status: Part-time (15-20 hours/week)
Start Date: As soon as possible.
Location: Onsite, or Remote/Hybrid
Key Responsibilities
Direct Donor Engagement
- Cultivate and solicit mid-level donors ($500–$4,999) across all SPO Regions through calls, emails, texts, mail, and social media
- Partner with the Director of Annual Fund to develop and execute a year-round engagement plan for mid-level donors
- Secure event sponsorships and promote ticket sales for Regional Advancement events
- Build relationships with local parishes to expand donor engagement and event participation
- Track all donor interactions in Raiser’s Edge NXT and maintain accurate donor records
- Collect and organize donor data (contact info, giving interests, wealth insights)
- Generate reports on donor activity and giving as needed
Partners in Mission Event Support
- Assist in coordinating donor events nationwide (approx. 18 annually), including logistics, invitations, RSVPs, and materials
- Collaborate with Development Operations, Donor Engagement Officers, and Regional staff to execute excellent events
Mission Partner Development
- Raise personal support by inviting others into financial partnership with SPO’s mission
- Build and steward relationships with mission partners through consistent communication, gratitude, and updates on impact

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Prior experience with SPO’s mission is preferred
Other Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities:
- Previous experience with Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) software
