A top manufacturing client of ours is seeking a hands-on Business Continuity and Resiliency professional to serve as a key partner to the current resiliency leadership team. This role will act as a right-hand to the Business Continuity lead, with a strong emphasis on technology impact assessments, insurance alignment, and governance execution.

The team has recently completed a proposal for a new resiliency framework and is now moving into execution. This role will help operationalize that framework, support a newly defined governance and insurance model, and work cross-functionally across IT and the business to assess and communicate technology risk and impact.

Key Responsibilities

Business Continuity & Resiliency Execution

  • Support execution of a newly defined business continuity and resiliency framework

  • Help operationalize governance and insurance-related resiliency processes

  • Act as a trusted partner and right-hand to the Business Continuity lead

  • Coordinate resiliency-related activities across IT and business stakeholders

Technology Impact Assessment (Core Focus)

  • Lead and support technology impact assessments across critical systems and services

  • Evaluate operational, financial, and business impacts of technology disruptions

  • Partner with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and application teams to understand dependencies and risk

Translate technical impact into business-relevant language for leadership and insurance stakeholders

Skills and Requirements

Required Qualifications (Must Haves)

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business

  • 5-10 years of relevant professional experience

  • Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment

  • Experience using Jira for tracking work and collaboration

  • Knowledge of secure control frameworks (e.g., ISO standards, including ISO 27001/2021)

  • Exposure to MIS or enterprise systems environments

  • Familiarity with risk and resiliency frameworks

  • Strong experience conducting risk and impact assessments

  • Experience supporting or coordinating incident response activities

  • Hands-on experience with disaster recovery and business continuity

  • Understanding of regulatory and compliance processes

  • Strong stakeholder communication skills, including the ability to translate technical risk into business impact

  • Experience with at least one of the following platforms:

? Fusion Risk Management

? ServiceNow Business Continuity Management (BCM)

? Everbridge Business Continuity Cloud Preferred Qualifications (Pluses / Nice to Have)

  • Experience working as a Project Manager or in a project-based delivery role

  • Background in IT Operations (infrastructure, applications, or cyber)

  • Familiarity with Zero Trust security concepts
