Job description:
Tower Grove Park is known for its unique, historic Victorian architecture, its extensive network of trails, and its signature community events and activities such as the Farmer’s Market and the Festival of Nations. The Park includes a variety of private rentals, including historic pavilions, private indoor venues, sport fields, and picnic sites.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
· Provide facility management support during wedding ceremonies/receptions, private parties, and other special events.
· Open/Close Venue. Venue Assistant will remain onsite for the duration of all private events at Piper Palm House and Stupp Center, answering any venue-related questions
· Oversee setup of the Park's venues. Prior to events, Venue Assistant ensures layout map and furniture setup agree.
· Occasional shift work representing Tower Grove Park at special events such as Festival of Nations, Tower Grove Pride, Tower Grove Farmers’ Market, etc.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
The ideal candidate for this position will have a background in customer service, preferably with previous experience working events. Successful candidates will be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. This position requires weekend availability of at least one evening per weekend (Friday, Saturday or Sunday) & weekday evenings. Work hours will vary depending on events booked.
