Community Events & Marketing Coordinator

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Someone who genuinely loves Auburn and wants to see it thrive
• Creative and self-directed; you can run with an idea without a lot of hand-holding
• Comfortable with social media (Facebook, Instagram at minimum)
• Strong communicator who can build relationships with businesses and guests alike
• Organized enough to juggle multiple events in different stages at once
• Experience in events, hospitality, marketing, or community organizing is a plus — but the right attitude matters more

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You'll own our events calendar from concept to execution. That means:

• Dream up and deliver at least one community event per week — bingo nights, live local music, watch parties, trivia, seasonal celebrations, shopping pop-ups, you name it
• Promote events across social media and local channels to drive sales and walk-in traffic
• Reach out to and partner with local businesses to co-host events and cross-promote
• Own the details that make each event feel intentional; coordinating with kitchen and floor staff, sourcing decorations and supplies, and partnering with the cooks on special menus
• Build relationships with local artists, musicians, and organizations to keep the calendar fresh
• Track what works and bring new ideas to the table regularly

COMPENSATION

$15 per hour base pay for a minimum of 5hrs a week, plus commission on profits generated. Your earning potential grows with every event you build. Strong performers who drive consistent attendance will see that reflected in their paycheck.
