Production Planner

We are looking for a Production Planning Specialist II to join our team in Oak Ridge, TN. The Opportunity

• Compensation: $65,000–$75,000 annually + annual bonus potential
  
  
• Schedule: Typically Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm
  
  

What You’ll Do As a key driver of our production success, you will:

• Master the Schedule: Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand, capacity, and material availability.
• Drive ERP Excellence: Perform transactions within QAD and play a pivotal role in our upcoming migration to SAP.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with manufacturing, engineering, and commercial teams to ensure on-time delivery and material readiness.
  
  
• Problem Solve: Identify delays or discrepancies, find the root cause, and implement corrective actions.
  
  
• Manage Change: Review engineering changes (ECFs) and adjust plans to keep production moving smoothly.
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• Experience: 3+ years in production planning, master scheduling, or operations planning (high-mix manufacturing preferred).
  
  
• Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred, OR 8+ years of equivalent experience.
  
  
• Technical Chops: Excel skills and ERP experience (QAD or similar). Experience with SAP transitions is a major plus!
  
  
• Mindset: A strategic thinker with high initiative who acts as an agent for change.
  
  
• Certification: APICS/CPIM certification is a plus.
