Director of Children's Mnistry

Responsibilities

The Director of Children’s Ministry will be responsible for providing oversight to our Children’s Ministry programs. Leadership recruitment and development are the central responsibilities of this role. Weekly Sunday morning gatherings and special events throughout the year make up the bulk of the programmatic responsibilities. This includes a beloved summer Vacation Bible Camp program that draws in nearly one-hundred children each year. In the coming years, we hope to expand our offerings by adding mid-week gatherings for elementary-aged children. Depending on the candidate’s interests, other ministry opportunities will present themselves, including partnership with our Youth Ministries as well as preaching and teaching opportunities as agreed upon with the Senior Pastor.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary and benefit package for this 40-hour a week role. This includes four weeks of paid vacation time and holidays. We also strive to invest in the growth and development of our staff by providing opportunities through coaching networks, conferences, and continuing education.
