Abacus is seeking a **motivated and technically skilled Automation

Sales Engineer** to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for quoting custom machines and equipment. This includes preparing detailed quote documents, developing budget sheets, and creating conceptual machine layout sketches.

We are looking for someone with strong engineering aptitude and a

proactive approach to problem-solving and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with prospective clients to understand their automation needs

and provide expert guidance on suitable solutions

• Research and prepare custom equipment quotes
• Develop and maintain accurate budget sheets
• Create conceptual layout sketches for proposed solutions
• Work collaboratively with engineering and project management teams
• Travel occasionally to customer sites as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of sales experience, ideally in custom automation or

industrial equipment

• Secondary education in Engineering or a related technical field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience with Solid Edge or SolidWorks CAD software
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
