Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday 7a-3:30p

Assignment Length: Temp-to-Hire

We're hiring Prep Cooks for a great local client in Bangor! If you have experience in a high-volume kitchen and want a steady weekday schedule, this is an excellent opportunity. These positions pay $17 per hour and are temp-to-hire .

Typical daily duties:

• Work with stoves, grills, ovens, broilers, slicers, blenders, and grinders

• Prepare a wide variety of meals on time and to specifications

• Monitor food temperatures and follow proper food safety protocols

• Rotate, store, and inventory products to ensure quality and safety

• Clean and maintain kitchen and equipment

• Perform other duties as assigned

What we're looking for:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Prior experience in food handling, preparation, and cooking methods in a high-volume kitchen

• Familiarity with food safety protocols

• Excellent reading, comprehension, and math skills
