JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a candidate interested in collaborating with a team of positive, dedicated, and high-performing educators to inspire students and challenge them to achieve more than they thought possible!

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Must meet state of Michigan certification requirements to teach mathematics at the secondary school level (EX endorsement).

2. Must demonstrate the desire and ability to build meaningful, caring relationships with students in order to exert academic influence.

3. Must demonstrate the ability to create and execute clear, logical instructional plans that produce strong results in student learning.

4. Must demonstrate the ability to seek out knowledgeable peers, coaches, or administrators for instructional support in the never-ending quest to deliver the vision of high-quality instruction in every class period every day.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
  • Minimum starting salary range: $46,945 – $81,638
  • 185 annual work days
  • Salary schedule placement is determined by degree level and teaching experience. Teachers with previous teaching experience will receive one-half step on the salary schedule for each year of experience up to a maximum of Step 12.
  • We offer a competitive benefit package, a $1500 new hire bonus, $2000 toward the cost of graduate credits, and half of the tuition cost for up to 18 graduate credits in a content area taught in our Early College Program.
