Wire Assembler

We are seeking a detail-oriented Wire Assembler to join our client's manufacturing team in Bohemia, NY. Their facility specializes in the production of high-end petroleum testing and laboratory instrumentation, including automated flash point testers, viscometers, and distillation equipment. This role is essential for ensuring the complex electrical systems within our precision instruments are wired to exact specifications.

salary: $20 - $22 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8:30 AM - 5 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Point-to-Point Wiring: Execute precise point-to-point wiring for laboratory testing equipment, including the installation of harnesses, sensors, and control boards.
  
  
• Component Integration: Assemble and wire heaters, motors, and digital displays into instrument chassis according to technical specifications.
  
  
• Crimping & Terminating: Perform high-quality wire stripping, crimping, and soldering of connectors and terminals.
  
  
• Blueprint Reading: Interpret detailed electrical schematics, wire lists, and assembly drawings to ensure accurate routing and connections.
  
  
• Testing & Continuity: Use multimeters and basic test equipment to perform continuity checks and ensure all circuits are functioning correctly before final assembly.
