Job Overview
The Quality Lead coordinates document control transactions, site record retention, calibration and inspection activities. In addition, the Quality Specialist facilitates Customer complaint investigations, assists in audit coordination, supports supplier quality and customer assessments and supports risk management activities where appropriate. This role may also track and trend Quality data and support the site Management Review process.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all products meet company standards and regulations.
- Perform regular quality audits and inspections.
- Coordinate training sessions for team members on quality procedures.
- Manage and maintain accurate quality records and documentation.
- Identify areas for continuous improvement and propose solutions.
- Collaborate with production teams, managers, quality technicians and engineering to resolve quality issues.
- Assist in developing and updating quality control procedures and guidelines.
- Support the Quality Department in Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Plans.
Experience
- 2 years’ experience in a quality assurance role in a manufacturing environment.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Previous experience with quality control processes, inspections, and audits.
- Proficient in using quality management systems.
- Commitment to safety practices.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to speak Spanish is a bonus!
