Bilingual School Social Workers (English/Spanish)

Location: Chicago, IL

School Year: 2026-2027

We are seeking Bilingual School Social Workers (English/Spanish) for full-time, school-based roles supporting elementary-aged students. These are one-year contracts offering consistent schedules and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student social, emotional, and behavioral development.

School Social Workers collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams and contribute to the development and implementation of IEPs and IHPs for students requiring social work intervention and support.

Position Details:

• Full-time: 40 hours per week

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM

• Contract length: Full school year

• Start date: August 5, 2026

• Grade level: Elementary

• Multiple openings available

• Virtual interview process

Requirements:

• Active Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker (SSW) endorsement

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required

• MSW or LCSW may be required per state or contract

• Ability to meet all federal, state, and local requirements

Pay Rate:

• $55 per hour (local)
