Manager

Ophelia's Pizza + Bar is looking for a Manager to join our dynamic team.

Location: 401 Church St. , Nashville TN 37219

Job Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $50,000-$55,000

The ideal candidate is passionate for food and outstanding hospitality with a minimum 3 years of experience in management of upscale or fine dining restaurants. Must be service oriented, have developed understanding of financials (ex. Cost of goods sold, profit and loss) scheduling, hiring, and firing. They would assimilate well into our company culture of “There Is Only We” and work to uphold a fun and positive work environment.

Responsibilities include:

· Assist in coordination of daily Front of House and Back of House restaurant operations

· Train FOH staff in proper guest service techniques, such as greeting guests, recommending menu selections, describing specials, and suggesting wine pairings

· Deliver superior service and maximize guest satisfaction

· Possess in-depth knowledge of all food and beverage menus

· Manage Daily Operations and POS functions

· Ensure proper compliance with cash control procedures, and perform related accounting and administrative reports daily

· Monitoring staff productivity throughout shifts

· Inspect Open/Close restaurant in accordance with daily checklists

· Diligently and frequently check dining room/ guest facilities throughout the day to uphold premium cleanliness

· Help facilitate special events, catering, and off-site events

· Check, order, and stock FOH supplies

Requirements:

· Impeccable attention to detail and follow through

· 3+ years of restaurant manager experience in upscale or fine dining restaurants

· Desire to work in a fun, positive, high-volume work environment

· Outstanding leadership skills

· Strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills

· Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and POS systems

· Energetic, warm, personable, and professional demeanor

· Open availability
