Location: New Berlin, WI

Position Overview

We are seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Order Management Specialist to support end-to-end order processing and customer experience. This role serves as a key point of contact between customers, sales, internal operations, and shipping teams to ensure orders are entered accurately, processed efficiently, and delivered on time. The ideal candidate brings 3-4 years of customer service experience, strong organizational skills, and comfort working in fast-paced environments. Experience with ERP systems is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding order status, availability, pricing, and delivery timelines

  • Enter, review, and manage customer orders accurately within internal systems and ERP platforms

  • Coordinate with Sales, Production, Warehousing, and Shipping teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment

  • Monitor open orders and proactively communicate updates, delays, or changes to customers

  • Resolve order discrepancies, pricing issues, and customer inquiries with professionalism and urgency

  • Maintain accurate customer records, order documentation, and shipping details

  • Process order modifications, returns, credits, and cancellations as needed

  • Support continuous improvement of order management and customer service processes

  • Assist with reporting, administrative tasks, and special projects related to order fulfillment

Required Qualifications

  • 3-4 years of experience in customer service, order processing, order management, or a related role

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused mindset

  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple orders, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Berlin, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
