Sr. Product Designer

Job Description

A leading media and technology organization is seeking a Senior Product Designer (Contract) to support a new, high-visibility digital partnership. This role focuses on delivering polished, data-rich, consumer-facing product experiences while operating confidently in a highly visible, senior-stakeholder environment.

The ideal candidate is a strong executor who can work within evolving constraints, collaborate closely with senior design leadership, and translate complex ideas into clear, compelling design outcomes. This role requires frequent engagement with senior stakeholders and external partners, comfort presenting work to executive audiences, and the ability to collaborate across a distributed team.

What You'll Be Doing

Design and execute consumer-facing product experiences, with a strong emphasis on data visualization, widgets, and visual storytelling

Work within an emerging design system, adhering to established patterns, components, and guidelines as they continue to evolve

Collaborate with a team of product designers, partnering closely with a senior product designer on a high-impact initiative

Contribute to and help refine executive-level presentations and materials, clearly articulating design decisions and product vision

Present work confidently to senior audiences and incorporate feedback from multiple stakeholders

Partner cross-functionally with product, engineering, and external teams to ensure designs are scalable, feasible, and production-ready

Collaborate effectively across multiple time zones within a distributed team environment

Rapidly prototype, iterate, and deliver high-quality design work in a fast-paced setting

Skills and Requirements

Senior-level experience as a Product Designer, with the ability to own execution from concept through delivery

Experience working within design systems, including consistently applying standards as they evolve

Strong background in data visualization, infographics, or data-heavy product design

Experience designing consumer-facing digital products at scale

Comfort presenting work to executive audiences and participating in high-level design discussions

Strong communication skills, sound design judgment, and a collaborative mindset

Experience working with distributed teams across multiple time zones
