Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Auto Body Estimator to join our team! In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for customers seeking repairs for their vehicles, providing expert assessments and accurate estimates for auto body repairs. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to assess repair needs, including auto body repair, frame straightening, paint work, and mechanical components.
• Prepare detailed and accurate repair estimates using advanced auto estimating software, ensuring all necessary repairs are accounted for.
• Communicate clearly with customers to explain repair procedures, costs, and timelines while providing outstanding customer service.
• Collaborate with insurance adjusters to facilitate smooth claims processing and ensure estimates align with insurance requirements.
• Coordinate with technicians and parts departments to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of work.
• Assist in upselling additional services such as oil changes, tire services, alignments, suspension work, brake repairs, shocks & struts, air brake systems, diesel engine repairs, transmissions, and other automotive diagnostics.
• Maintain detailed records of all estimates, repair orders, and customer interactions while ensuring compliance with company policies.

Experience

• Proven experience as an Auto Body Estimator or in a similar role within a dealership or automotive repair shop.
• Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and vehicle maintenance procedures.
• Familiarity with auto estimating software and service writing systems.
• Hands-on experience with auto service management including collision repair processes and mechanical repairs such as oil changes, brake repairs, suspension work, tire services, and transmission diagnostics.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100.00 - $1,000.00 per day

Work Location: In person
