Job Description

5 Full Time Seasonal H-2A Jobs available 06/06/2026 - 11/08/2026.

Farm equipment operator to run 100 hp. tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery to cultivate, spray, wash and harvest pumpkins and squash. Manually cultivate, and harvest produce. Use hand tools, such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, and knives. All workers are required to drive. Driving duties will be limited to operation of farm equipment such as tractors and/or tractor drawn machinery. Will operate equipment in farm fields and drive on farm roads.

All machinery or equipment operation will be done within the farm settings and are incidental to work at our business location. Much work will require extensive bending, stooping and ground work. Operate & maintain irrigation system. Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment. Apply fertilizers to crops. Inform farmers or farm managers of crop progress. Will monitor fields for plant infestations and use treatments appropriate for use in both a preventative or infestation situation.

Clear and maintain irrigation ditches. Record information about crop, such as yields, or costs. Workers must have experience working with farm sanitary and safety practices as required in Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) plans. Due to health and safety concerns relating to pesticide application and the operation of equipment on our farm, workers are required to have the ability to comprehend simple oral and written instructions in English. After hiring, employer may conduct random drug tests at employer?s expense. Must be physically able to lift up to 80 pounds *Workers referred against this order must have a minimum of 3 months experience in performing tasks described in this order in an agricultural setting.
