Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team and support the operation, inspection, and maintenance processes of assigned facilities. In this role, you will work collaboratively with the operations team, facilities team, and third-party vendors to ensure the proper maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment. Your responsibilities will include performing inspections and repairs on property interior and exterior areas, as well as assisting with general interior maintenance tasks. The ultimate goal is to provide efficient and satisfactory client occupancy and operations.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform all work with a strong customer service mentality and presence, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Work effectively with others, including clients and vendors, to address maintenance and repair needs on assigned accounts.
Conduct facility inspections and due diligence efforts, promptly reporting any conditions that impact client occupancy and operations.
Carry out general interior maintenance tasks, such as hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, repairing office furniture systems, and fixing doors.
Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment, as directed.
Respond to requests to move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials.
Update work order status in real time, utilizing computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) like 360 Facility.
Escalate problems or issues to the customer and manager in a timely manner.
Attend work and safety meetings as required.
Complete necessary Hazard Assessments.
Comply with all safety procedures, ensuring good housekeeping and a safe work environment.
Recognize and propose methods to eliminate danger and safety hazards.
Maintain compliance with State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws.
Complete all required safety trainings as scheduled.
Adhere to policies for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
Perform any other duties and tasks assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and basic electrical work.
Strong customer service skills with a dedication to delivering exceptional service.
Ability to work effectively with a variety of individuals, including clients and vendors.
Basic knowledge of building systems, equipment, and maintenance processes.
Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), such as 360 Facility, preferred.
Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
Physical ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 100 pounds.
Vision abilities necessary for close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Ability to work outdoors and in various weather conditions.
Familiarity with working in mechanical/equipment rooms and around heavy equipment.
Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
