Kelly Science is seeking to fill
4 Data Analysts in Detroit, MI with one of our clients.
Position Type: Full-time, temporary contract (6–12-month duration - May 1, 2026 – May 1, 2027)
Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $20-25/hr., and based on experience
Overview: This role supports a large?scale data entry and compliance project focused on accurately documenting more than 4,000 charitable fund agreements, memoranda of agreement (MOAs), and related records in the Gift Agreement (GA) Module of CRM Advance. Analysts will review donor documentation, interpret agreement language, and extract key data points to ensure records are complete, consistent, and policy?aligned.
As part of a specialized project team, analysts will work closely with experienced advancement services staff and leadership to strengthen data quality, donor intent documentation, and institutional compliance. This role plays a critical part in fund safety, stewardship, and long?term operational excellence across the university.
Schedule - On-site, transitioning to hybrid schedule – during the 4-week training period, analysts will be on-site 5 days/week and progress to a hybrid schedule (two days remote and three days on-site).
- Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM EST, Monday–Friday
Responsibilities - Responsibilities focus on accurate interpretation, documentation, and quality control of donor agreements to ensure data integrity and institutional compliance
- Perform detailed reviews of donor agreements and related source documents to identify required data elements, policy considerations, and documentation gaps
- Extract, validate, and record required data into the GA Module of CRM Advance using standardized and controlled fields to maintain consistency and audit readiness
- Verify all entries against donor intent documentation and applicable university policies to ensure defensible, policy?aligned records
- Manage confidential data in accordance with institutional data protection requirements
- Identify discrepancies, ambiguity, or missing documentation and escalate through established GAC workflows
- Report status, trends, and risks through regular check?ins and participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement activities
Qualifications - Demonstrated ability to interpret agreements or formal documentation using objective, policy?aware judgment
- High attention to detail and consistency in high?volume data or compliance environments
- Clear communicator who follows established standards, documentation requirements, and escalation protocols
- Effective time and task management in repetitive, deadline?driven workflows
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Adobe Professional; comfort working in structured data systems required
- Degree preferred but not required; demonstrated analytical and compliance?related experience prioritized
- Ability to work onsite in a non?elevator building and transition to a hybrid schedule following training period
