Job Title: CVOR Tech (Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician)

Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks)

Work Schedule: Day Shift – 4x10 Hours (11:00 AM – 9:30 PM)

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced CVOR Tech to support complex cardiovascular surgical procedures in a high-acuity environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgeries, preferably within a Level 1 Trauma setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons during cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular procedures
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields and surgical instruments
• Handle and prepare pump lines for cannulation
• Anticipate surgical team needs during procedures
• Ensure patient safety and maintain sterile technique
• Assist with room setup, turnover, and equipment readiness
• Collaborate with surgical and perfusion teams

Required Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of CVOR Tech experience
• Experience in Level 1 Trauma Center required
• Strong experience in cardiac, vascular, and thoracic procedures

Required Case Experience Includes:

• CABG, valve replacements, and aortic dissection
• Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) repair
• Carotid Endarterectomy
• EVAR, TEVAR, TAVR
• Femoral-popliteal bypass graft
• Ventricular Assist Device (VAD)
• Heart and lung transplant procedures
• Minimally invasive and robotic cardiac surgeries

Certifications:

• BLS certification required
• NBSTSA certification required
